Finding the One is owned and operated by Finding the One Limited. We act as the data controller of your information. Information We Collect

We are totally committed to finding you a relationship and in this respect, we are required to ask for details relating to you personally that are necessary for the App to function.

Using the App may also provide data for the benefit of providing or improving the service such as who you like, when you log in, and how you use the service. We may also collect third-party data, for instance, if you sign up or log in to the service using another platform (e.g. Apple, Google, Facebook).

We may also collect some technical information from you for the purposes of service improvement, maintenance, and analysis.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We will only collect your data when we have the legal right to do so.

We may communicate with you via electronic means but only with your permission. Examples may include, but are not limited to: offering news about your account and promotional offers.

We may collect personal information such as ID verification, with your consent, for KYC purposes. In these cases, once verified, the data is fully deleted from our servers within 24 hours and is never shared externally.

We use personal data provided through the signup process to create your profile. Your telephone number, email, last name, exact location, and any financial information we may hold will never be shown on your profile or to any users of the app.

We do not share your personal information with any third parties other than as described above and as follows:

• We may share your device or purchase information with our advertising affiliate companies. These are websites that promote our services and, by use of cookies, are able to track and measure the success for commission purposes. In these cases, only user ID, payment amount, product purchased, and payment date are recorded externally.
• We may share your information with other third parties for analytical purposes (e.g., Google, Bing, Hotjar). In these cases, only limited information such as User ID, gender, age range, device and browser, product purchased, and amount are held externally.
• It may be required to disclose your data to comply with a legal process. In these cases, data will only be shared if it is required by law to assist in the prevention or detection of crime or if it has been requested as part of a legal process or is required to initiate, maintain, or defend a legal claim.

Links to External Websites and Third Parties

While using Finding the One, you may see links or promotional material from partner networks, advertisers, and affiliates. You may also see links to social media platforms. If you follow any link that directs you outside of the App, then you will no longer be bound by this Privacy Policy but by that of the third party. Please check their privacy policies before submitting any personal information to their websites or platforms.

International Data Transfers

Finding the One may use data processors located outside of the European Economic Area. Our processors are either certified as compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework where they are located in the USA or have entered into an agreement with us containing the model clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK Information Office as providing contractual protection equivalent to that provided by the data protection regulations applicable in the UK or EEA.

Children and Minors

Finding the One is strictly for the use of users aged 18 or over. We will never knowingly collect data from anyone under this age.

If you are under the age of 18, please do not attempt to sign up for any of our services. Likewise, if you believe that a child or minor is using the service willingly or otherwise, please contact us at support@findingtheone.com. We take privacy very seriously and will act fast to ensure any data of this kind is removed as a matter of urgency.
